Because his most recent home had some concerns about Chase's eyesight, we took him to the area specialist, Dr. Shiffrin, to have his eyes checked out. Dr. S assured us that Chase has "good" vision in both eyes-- yay!!! He does have a persistent hyaloid remnant and an early cataract on the rear of his left eye, but the doctor thinks they will not effect him at all under normal circumstances. (He should be periodically rechecked by the eye doctor just to be on the safe side.)
What a relief!!
Chase came into rescue with a broken leg and then had to wait for over two years to get his chance at a Home. Unfortunately, his new owner became worried about his vision and Chase has been sent back to the Rescue. We adore him and are committed to helping him find his real Forever Family!
